As a naturopath, I see the human body as a harmonious arrangement of structure and function forever striving to maintain balance. I always treat the body as a whole, rather than a sum of unrelated and separate parts.

During consultations we will explore the physical, emotional, or environmental factors within your life that may be contributing to your health concerns. Keeping in mind, naturopathic care is not about symptom management, it’s about understanding why there are symptoms in the first place - what is the root cause?

Treatment recommendations may include nutritional advice and specific dietary modifications, supplementation, herbal medicine, lifestyle advice, educational resources, and further testing or referrals for specific treatment if necessary.

Clinical interests:

  • Mental and emotional health (anxiety, depression, stress, burnout)

  • Nervous system complaints (low energy, headaches and migraines, sleep struggles)

  • Women’s reproductive disorders (endometriosis, PCOS)

  • Pre-conception preparation and support, pregnancy and postpartum care, pregnancy loss

  • Menstrual cycle support (pain, irregularity, absence of cycle, PMS, coming off birth control)

  • Immune dysfunction (inability to get well and stay well, reoccurring infections)

  • Thyroid dysfunction

  • Gut and digestive health

Purchasing products

Dispensing your recommended supplements is simple and seamless. I use an online prescription platform that allows you to purchase any practitioner-only products I’ve prescribed directly through your personal link. Once your order is placed, your supplements will be delivered straight to your door.

Testing

In order to build a more comprehensive picture about what is happening within your body, further testing may be deemed necessary. I will make recommendations on what I think are the most essential tests to undertake, and then it is up to you to decide if you wish to test further. This might include:

  • Simple blood tests through your GP or local lab to analyse for example: thyroid function, blood sugar regulation, liver function, iron status, nutrient stores

  • The Dried Urine Testing for Comprehensive Hormones (DUTCH) test which is particularly useful for those experiencing hormone-related issues

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) which is used to determine mineral deficiencies and excesses, heavy metals, and other elements. Minerals play a role in mental health, energy, immune function, metabolism, cardiovascular health and nervous system function

If you have had any recent testing done prior to our consultation, please send them through if you are happy to share the results.

*Please note that all supplements, herbal medicines, and further testing are an additional charge to appointment fees.
